Workshops For The Imagination
Was set up by Alex Sutton-Vane to bring a wider range of quality art to children aged from 2yrs.It is now based in Brighton and run through an art studio for children, offering After School Art Clubs, Pre-School Art With Music And Creative Play,
Art Parties and Holiday Art Workshops.
The philosophy behind Workshops For The Imagination is to allow creativity to thrive in
an informal but structured enviroment.
There is a wide range of materials and computer programmes that children can use to invent, create and formulate ideas, allowing them to be free with their imagination. The workshop leaders are there to direct this process, instigate ideas and help solve problems.
There is an emphasis on three dimensional design and model making using various materials such as wood and model magic and techniques from origami to card/paper sculpture and pop up pictures.
